Carol Vorderman has revealed a recent health scare has made her take the decision to step down from her LBC radio show. The 63-year-old explained how she ended up in hospital after burning out from working seven-day weeks “for as long as she can remember”. In a video message, posted on X on Friday (11 October) she said: “Luckily, after many scans and checks, we know that I don’t have any underlying health issues whatsoever. So, after a proper talking to from my family and my buddies, I’ve taken the health scare as a warning sign to slow down slightly and have decided to cut my work back to weekdays for now.”
